Alert: Scammers, posing as pastors, are sending messages asking for money, gift cards, etc.

There is a nation wide scam tactic where messages are supposedly sent from the pastor of a church asking for gift cards, money, etc.

Recently, some staff and parishioners of Holy Cross have indicated receiving these kinds of messages, supposedly from Fr. Meyer, asking for money, gift cards, etc.

Please be wary of this type of message, as it is most definitely not from Fr. Meyer or any other member of our staff or clergy. The message should deleted and ignored.

Mission
Holy Cross Catholic Church, founded in 1981, is a faith community rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and dedicated to Christian Unity. As a people, we continue to strive for holiness, help individuals and families grow in faith and serve those in need. Converted by word and sacrament, we celebrate beautiful liturgies that involve active participation of all worshipers. We extend our renewed experience of God’s loving presence to our everyday encounters and surroundings, making them new.
